We went to the Hatcher Dairy today for a farm tour. It was really neat and we learned a lot about how milk gets to us! We saw little calves, 3 days old, and we saw 15 year old cows. Emma Cate just wanted to milk one but petting one worked out okay for her instead! One of the men that helped with the tour told Emma Cate she had on the best farm outfit of the day, she was excited! I wonder if he would have told her that if she would have had on her red ruby slippers? Thankfully we wore our tennis shoes!
Anyway, if you live in the Nashville area it is a great little field trip!
