Here we are...

Sorry for my absence in the blog world. I have been busy. Brent has been out of work since August so he is home too. I would like to think I could get more done with the extra help but so far it hasn't worked that way. We have been traveling a lot to Arkansas. He has had some interviews there and lately a few here. We are praying something works out soon.

The kids are doing well. Emma Cate just finished her fall semester of preschool. She had a Christmas Program Thursday night. I will upload video soon. She amazes me everyday. Sometimes I feel like I am talking to a 10 year old. She is very strong willed and hasn't lost any of her sassy attitude. We are working on it. We got our Elf on the Shelf out again this year, hoping it would be better than last year! (Last year if I told her he was watching she would just stick her tongue out at it or walk away from him!) This year a little better. I am getting nervous though, she is already asking too many questions about the Santa Magic! She is very excited this year, she has asked for a Hair Salon and a Barbie Vet. We will see what Santa comes up with this year.

Will is a mess! He makes me laugh everyday and is such a sweet boy. He is almost two (Feb. 8) and I can NOT believe it. My baby is almost a big boy, it pains me! He still sleeps around 12-14 hours a night, I am still loving that! At night he wants to read his book Goodnight Moon and "wok". He is saying everything Emma Cate says, he is like her personal parrot. Sometimes good, sometimes bad! And he is finally defending himself and telling her "NO" and actually retaliating when she bothers him. I have been telling her this day would come. He loves to ride his firetruck and use everything as a drum stick. Sometimes he loves Jake sometimes he hates him. He can be a little moody! He always wants to go "outside" or he wants to "ride". One of my favorite lines is "I hug you", meaning hold me, I love it!

For now, that is all I have got. I will post Thanksgiving pics soon and the rest of December. For now Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
