We went to the Wild Wilderness Drive-thru Safari in Gentry, AR on Friday. We had a really good time and got to see a lot of really neat animals. I grew up going here all the time and have taken Brent before. This was the first time we have taken E.C. and she had so much fun. When it says drive-thru it is literally a drive-thru. The animals are roaming well the more tame ones zebras, camels, llamas, bison, ostrich, deer etc. The tigers, monkeys and bears are in cages but you drive by them. It is a really cool place for the kids if you are ever in the area. They have a petting area with goats, sheep, pigs, kangaroos and they had baby tigers this trip. Emma Cate got to ride a horse and they had camel rides. It was a fun day, E.C. keeps saying we went to the Safari not the zoo.

We have had a very busy month. We had swim lessons for two weeks which kept us busy and we went to Kansas/Arkansas for a week. We left last Friday and drove to Kansas City (10 hours) later we arrived at Uncle Tom and Aunt Judy's house. We had a Soetaert family party on Saturday for the graduates, Haley, Terra and Albert and had a great time seeing everyone there. On Monday we drove to Arkansas and spent a few days with Mimmie and Papa and then a few days with Mom. We had a good visit but were very happy to see our own beds last night after another 10 hour drive! The kids did great in the car and we had a beautiful week of weather. We got to see some familiar faces and had a pretty good week!
