Sorry to all of my blog checkers. We have been pretty busy the last two weeks. As you can see we have been all over the place. Andrea and her friend Alyssa came to visit for the weekend and ran the Country Music 1/2 Marathon. Alyssa had never been to the South so we tried to give her a good experience. We went to all of our favorite restaraunts that have cheese dip. You can't get that in NYC and Andrea loves it, I think after Tin Roof, Mazatlan, and SATCO they got their fill. I know I did! We also went to the Franklin Main Street Festival. I think Emma Cate enjoyed that the most! We had a wonderful time with them and were sad to see them leave on Monday. Thank you Andrea for taking me shopping to get some really cute stuff for the summer. I am looking forward to my "new wardrobe", HA HA!
The weather has been beautiful so we have spent a lot of time outside. We went to the Zoo with Melaina and Gibson. Will got too hot and cried the entire time. But Emma Cate and Gibson had a good time.
Emma Cate is doing good, she seems so much older every day. She is talking all of the time and singing too. She talks to her dolls and her animals, I will have to record a conversation some time, they are quite amusing! Last week Andrea and I were changing her out of her Sunday dress into some play clothes and she started crying. We asked her what was wrong and she told us that her outfit wasn't fancy enough. I have no idea where she gets these things but they keep us all laughing. She also tells me when she thinks that things don't match, she does not want to wear clothes that don't match. She will wear her Crocs with anything and everything!
Will is getting big, he will be 3 months on Thursday! I can't believe it, time has flown by. This morning I had to go to get him some bigger pj's. He is about to kick out the end of his 3-6 months size. Yesterday I put him in a 3-6 month outfit, overalls, and they were almost too tight around the waist. He is laughing, talking and smiling all the time, only crying when he is tired or hungry. He is a very laid back baby, so was Emma Cate until she turned 2!
I hope you are all enjoying the Spring weather. I will try to take some more pictures of the kiddos this week and update more often. Have a great week!

Thanks for the update! :)
I feel like a celebrity, making an appearance on Emma Cate and Will's blog, which I have been diligently reading without commenting for so long -- it was so nice to finally meet you guys! I had such a great time in Nashville, especially eating my weight in delicious cheese dip. Thanks for everything!
Ruby and Emma Cate sound so much alike. Ruby is very opinionated lately about things matching. We sometimes disagree about which hairbow would be best. Crocs are the exception to this rule though. She got new Disney princess Crocs in her Easter basket and insisted on wearing them with her Easter dress! Take care! Love-
